Paludan origins can be traced far back.

Located on Fiolstræde, in the old Jewish quarter in Copenhagen, appears Paludan Book & Café at the heart of the city's soul. In the classic student neighborhood where the cathedral stands behind the university library, with dynamic youthful and fresh people. The narrow street forms a bottleneck between Stroget and Norreport station.

 

The atmosphere in our place is intimate, despite the buzz of the city, which is felt everywhere else. 

 

Paludan started as a combined bookstore and publisher that provided the students with books at reasonable prices. The bookstore was in many ways depending on the students who secured a regular turnover. At the turn of the millennium opened the café, which united the experience of the good book store within a cozy environment.
